Mike Arnold15 days agoI can’t say enough good things about my experience with Carpet Now. I needed my carpets replaced quickly in order to get my house ready to sell. I contacted some recommended vendors who never returned my calls, went to big box hardware stores but it would take a couple of weeks to get measurements and install and even tried local flooring companies. Sara Mitchell52 days agoFirst, let me point out that I'm very distrustful of contractors, because well you've heard nightmare stories. We've even learned how to do many things ourselves, so we wouldn't have to deal with contractors. Installing carpet was too big of a project to DIY! We did our research and the reviews were great for Carpet Now, so we decided to trust them, and we're glad we did! They installed new carpet in one room in January 2026 and we were so happy with those results that we had them to do three other rooms in July 2026. Miguel and his crew are great carpet installers; they are very professional and leave no trace behind. Also, David (in January) & Carl (in July) were great Project Managers/salesmen; they were professional and explained everything. You pay half down and then the other half upon completion and I think that is safe and fair to both parties.Posted on Google

James was our salesman and he was very courteous, respectful, and responsive. Rodrigo and another gentleman installed the carpet and have done a great job. Truly, better than I expected. They moved our furniture and put everything back the way it was, were quiet and unobtrusive, and worked quickly. It is so nice to see that some haven't forgotten the art of customer service. The carpet looks fantastic, and overall, the installation team did a great job. We appreciate the care they took in moving furniture and returning it to the rooms afterward. However, there were a few issues worth noting. We chose your top-tier padding for added protection against spills and moisture. When the padding was installed, my husband asked about seam tape to prevent water from seeping between pieces and damaging the subfloor. We were told seam tape is not typically used. He ended up purchasing the tape himself, and the installers kindly applied it—but this should have been discussed or disclosed beforehand. Additionally, while most furniture was moved back properly, some heavier pieces were not placed correctly at the end of the job. For example, a very heavy bed was left away from the wall, and our nightstands were tipped on their sides, causing the contents of the drawers to spill. Since the drawers are not removable, we had to dismantle the nightstands to retrieve the items. The team worked hard and showed attention to detail, but completing everything in one day resulted in a very long 12-hour shift. We would have been happy for them to return the next day to finish with fresh energy rather than pushing through fatigue. Despite these concerns, we love the new carpet and appreciate the effort put into the installation.Posted on Google

Adrian Hernandez291 days agoGreat experience from quote to install. Competitive price compared to local alternatives. Communication throughout the process was excellent. Scheduling a quote was a very quick and easy call. I immediately received a text with the same day appointment details while I was still on the call. The project manager, Chuck, arrived on time and brought samples of carpet and padding options. He measured the rooms, then showed us the samples and explained the differences between the carpet styles and densities. He provided insights as to what colors are currently popular and what colors he thought may look good based on our furniture and wall color. He also didn’t try to sell us the most expensive options. Based on our plan to sell in the next few years, he recommended the lower or mid-level carpet densities that would look and feel great and last, but not the top end we may want if we were going to stay in the home longer term. We went mid-level with memory foam padding and absolutely love it. The order placement process was easy; Sent Chuck a text a few days later with our picks and he texted a link for a down payment, as well as install appointment details. Install process was very smooth. Team arrived on time and finished within the time frame estimated. The team members were courteous and handled our furniture and pool table with care. They took measurements of where furniture was BEFORE moving it so they could put it back exactly where it was. AND they swept up the subfloor before putting down the new padding and carpet. They also swept up the stairs and common areas that they were walking through once they finished. Lastly, Chuck dropped in during the install to make sure everything was going as planned. We meticulously went through them to find the one we wanted, and Gina promptly ordered the carpet for us. When it came time for the install, Rodrigo was the best I’ve ever seen. Professional, polite, courteous, and diligent, he and his crew removed furniture from the bedrooms, removed the old carpet, installed the new carpet, and moved and reassembled the furniture right where it had been. But for the new carpet and the beautiful new look, nobody could tell that anyone had ever even been there. Flawless! We went over square footage of the area that needed replacing, carpet samples to match existing carpet, scheduling, and pricing all within the hour. He was personable and efficient. Shortly after he left, I spoke with my husband and canceled another appointment to avoid any delays. I let David know we needed this done quickly and before furniture was delivered and we were scheduled for the next business day. The carpet installer (Rodrigo) and his team came and got to work. We filed a claim but the manufacturer bailed...Carpet Now dropped this manufacturer and helped us pick out something new and covered the original cost per square foot and all of the labor to install all new carpets in 4 rooms of our house today. Salesman Tim Gates was low pressure, really knowledgeable, took time to measure and show different padding. Leonel was installer with team. We were able to choose the color needed. From deposit to install was 10 days, and saved us at least 30% vs. the competition. We made an appointment, had said appointment with the sales associate, received our estimate and the payment for deposit all in the same day. This was all without having to drive out to a showroom. The installers were able to come out THE NEXT DAY (we chose an in-stock option). Not only did they have EXACTLY what we wanted (a specific, office- like carpet for residential), but also the quality of the work and the finished product are stunning. We had to buy some more of the same carpet to cover the job, so Carpet Now had to figure out how to make the various pieces fit together and cover the space. Their lead guy, Leonel, did a great job of figuring it out and the crew did a great job of installing it. They were friendly, efficient, and moved the furniture, too. As I was doing a remodeling of the house, I had to change installation date two times and Tim promptly accommodated me. The only reason I even reached out to Carpet Now was because of the reviews so I thought it only fair to repay the favor. All the reviews are true! We are a week in to our new carpet and couldn't be happier with the results! They were quick, efficient, extremely communicative, had amazing response time and best of all REASONABLY priced. I had 2 other companies come out to give us estimates before carpet now and Carpet now beat BOTH bids by $200+. Chuck was extremely friendly and knowledgable about which options would be best for our pockets and the look we were going for! They bring samples ON SITE to choose from which was wonderful for us to be able to see and feel in real time. They came right out & gave me an estimate and had nearly the EXACT carpet to replace the old. The installation guys showers up an hour earlier than planned (which I didn't mind as I had been up since the day before). They were quiet and efficient and in and out in less than 2 hours. The carpets were soiled from the tenants previous pets as well as mine & the rooms look and smell like a brand new house. He was punctual for our scheduled appointment, very knowledgeable and most importantly, no hard sales pitch. Very refreshing. Cesar and his 2 man installation team showed up in their promised time slot. They were professional, efficient, experienced and great at their jobs. Pink P.1319 days agoWe recently replaced carpet in our condo. Went with CarpetNow based on their good reviews here. My experience was consistent with the praise they have received. Chuck was very friendly and hardworking and visited us twice, once to measure and once to bring carpet samples. Scheduling, emails, and in-person communications were very prompt and efficient. Installation by Jerry and Gustavo was meticulous, careful and skilled. They cleaned up very carefully and even helped us move and put back bulky furniture. This is probably as good as it's ever going to get in Austin! If you haven't replaced carpet in your home before: (1) make sure to discuss with the team in advance how much space is needed for parking their very long van (as carpet rolls are very long) and where they can roll out the giant roll to cut it, (2) how old the prior carpet and underlying fastening material is, because additional hours may have to be factored in if what is beneath the carpet needs to be replaced and redone as well. It can be a laborious and artisanal job - carpet isn't just a peel-and-stick thing!Posted on YelpChase F.1339 days agoI had a great experience using CarpetNow. I wanted to replace the upstairs original carpet that needed an upgrade desperately and Chuck and the installers were very easy to work with. He came to my house for the in home appointment, was punctual, informative, and gave me the best options for my home especially since I didn't really know what I was talking about. Price was very reasonable and even with a small backorder issue (like everything else in this world right now) I couldn't have been happier with the communication and install process. The installation team was down a man from 3 to 2 but that didn't stop the guys from doing a fantastic job. Zero lines, zero things needed to be fixed afterwards, and they moved and replaced every large piece of furniture back to its original location. You will have to remove smaller items off the carpet which is normal and no problem, but again I couldn't be happier with the result and would HIGHLY recommend using CarpetNow for any job you may have in your home.Posted on Yelp

We recently bought a home in Plano, Texas, but needed to replace all the carpeting within the house before the arrival of our household goods from Indiana. The entire transaction happened over the phone and via text message and it was flawless - steady and reliable communication from start to finish. Robert was able to get the home measured and then we discussed types and styles of carpet that would best work in our home. I absolutely loved that he was comfortable in making suggestions that would better suit our needs, even though it wasn't our first choice based upon photos. His experienced shined through and his recommendations were perfect. He was able to arrange carpet installation in a matter of days, so it was complete before our furniture arrived. The carpet itself is amazing - it's so plush that our youngest son felt like trying to make "snow angels" in it on the first day. The quote was good and the delivery time was fast. After we had the house painted (about two months later) reached out to do the install. Within the week we had new carpet in and looking so good! The install crew was friendly, communicated arrival time and very detailed. They removed the old carpet and cleaned the floor thoroughly, repaired and installed tack strips and were on to the install. After the install I found several of my sons legos that the install crew had swept up and set aside on the windowsill for me. The finished edges are crisp and clean, butt up against my wood and tile so nicely and look incredible. He also went to the house, took measurement, made an estimate and sent me samples within a week. Great customer service, extremely responsive team, and extra shout out to the folks who installed the carpet for leaving the place in great shape when they were done. He stopped by with samples and made a second trip with more samples to give us even more choices at different price points. It took only 2 weeks for our special order carpet to come in. Jerry and his brother handled the installation and did an incredible job. They moved some really heavy furniture and were extra careful to avoid any damage. The carpet looks fantastic! He then proceeded to showcase all of our carpet options. He gave us pros/cons, answered all questions, and was very patient. He sent me quotes promptly and gave suggestions that balanced our budget and need. Installation was just as smooth. The crew came in this morning and knocked it out quick. They didn't drag anything across my hardwood, they were mindful with their equipment, and they were very polite. I have never felt so at ease with people in the home. Finally, the work itself was impeccable. They installed, cleaned up, and vacuumed the floor for good measure. Would definitely recommend these guys. Michael P.1652 days agoCompany was quick to come over to quote and also quick to schedule the install. The price was a bit higher than the average but we did order carpets that had durable backing and upgraded pads. The installers were quick but used too much stapes. We have indentations from staples which go all around a round area of our stair case and on the staircase pads. Maybe over time it'll go away, or I'll have to pick at the crushed and stapled carpet fibers so it looks even and smooth. Either way, I would rate them as OK. +1 star, CarpetNow was quick to contact me to look at addressing my concerns and correct the issues. +1 star, the cosmetic issues have been resolved. I would not hesitate to use them again, they stand behind both the product and install. James was very patient and walked me through out options, trying to offer the solutions that made the most sense for our situation rather than trying to upsell us on something we didn't need. We settled on a low pile carpet (for the walker), moderate quality carpeting, and a high quality thick pad. I really appreciated that he listened and seemed to really care that we got what we needed. The cost was also reasonable. And the installers did a great iob as well! I was pleasantly surprised that an upgraded carpet and pad was less than I spent at a big box store 10 years ago!! The installers were fast, professional and did a fantastic job. They even used a blower to clean out the garage and driveway after they were finished, as well as swept any area in the house they were in. All the furniture was put back perfectly. Terry H.1887 days agoCarpet Now has an interesting business model--I called and made an appointment, and the salesman Tim brought samples to my house. Tim helped me understand how much I should spend on carpet and how much on pad to get what I wanted. I had done some research, but touching and walking on the samples helped me decide. The installation was flawless--I can't see any seams (how do they do that?) and the crew completely cleaned up after they finished, including vacuuming the carpet over and over. I moved the small things out of the way, but the big furniture they moved and put it back exactly as they found it. I honestly could not be happier with the service, the communication, and with the final result. If you are in need of flooring, call Carpet Now. Not pushy & knew exactly what we were looking for in a carpet. Robert measured quickly and provided a quote on the spot. We had a special order so it took a couple of weeks to get in but Rodrigo and his co-worker were fabulous during the install. They worked fast and very hard all day. The price was very reasonable for 3 bedrooms, 1 master room, and a closet so we booked for installation for the week after. Paula R.2016 days agoLOVE LOVE LOVE everything about this company & their approach to purchasing & installing carpet, including their online presence and use of technology which makes "shopping from home" so easy, vs. wandering around an overwhelming showroom - this is truly a carpet company for the 21st century! It was very easy to schedule an in-home appointment online, and the quote we received was much lower than we'd expected - primarily because Carpet Now doesn't have the overhead investment of a more conventional bricks-n-mortar flooring store. Our sales rep Robert was VERY polite, knowledgeable, and helpful in selecting just the right product for our needs from the comfort of our own home, and Rodrigo and his team did an EXCELLENT job of installing everything. Robert also did a great job accommodating our slightly-complicated renovation schedule, which required that our new carpet be installed in 2 phases separated by several months' time. All in all, we couldn't be more pleased - Robert and team made us feel like we were receiving "old fashioned personalized service" from a small-town carpet store, vs. buying from a big box where we're just another random customer... Chuck was our sales manager and he was incredibly responsive, professional, and overall easy to work with. Refugio Z. was our installer and was equally professional and worked nearly the entire day to get our carpet installed just right. The Company was very competitive on price and they also were great at utilizing technology to facilitate reminders / invoicing / etc... so there was really no question mark throughout the process on what was going on. Most construction / renovation experiences are usually a huge miss but Carpet Now has really impressed me with how well they've optimized what they do. Carpet Now was the fastest to call back and Robert came out the next day to give us an estimate and show us the different types of carpets they offered. The price was also much cheaper than what we were quoted from the other 3 places we called. A few days later, one man came out and removed all of our old carpet and replaced it with the brand new carpet and it looks great. He finished the job in about 3 hours, and though there were some marks and scuffs on the wall from the work done, we were able to wash/rinse it out with a magic eraser.Posted on Yelp

Kyle W.2283 days agoI used Carpet Now for one room as we were getting our old house ready to put on the market. Everything went smoothly there. I had them do a quote on carpet for the entire house once we moved and their price was the winner. Robert (the sales guy) was great on both projects. He spent plenty of time with us, was not pushy on the sale AT ALL which I appreciate, and was very flexible on providing options and his own opinion on the types of carpet to choose from. The installation took longer than expected, but we weren't living in the house at the time so it wasn't a big deal. (One of the installers got stuck in Mexico because of coronavirus.) I have used HD for flooring before and had such a terrible experience that I will never use them again, but Carpet Now will be my first phone call on future projects. Also, it has been a few months since the job and the carpet is holding up very well so far... stains come out easily (we have three kids and a dog).Posted on Yelp

He came over with lots of samples and we picked one that best matched the rest of the house. He was able to get a team to the house a few days later to install the carpet (which only took maybe an hour or so). The whole process was quick and easy. Every other company felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. The Project Manager came to our house each day and was readily available if we had any questions. He takes pride in this company and his work. Let's talk about the installation team for a minute. The team was a father and son and they were able to remove all of the carpets and installed new carpeting in a day. Over 2,000 square feet! They were polite and the most efficient workers ever. They did not scratch a single wall or baseboard. The quality of their workmanship was beyond perfection. You cannot go wrong with this company. After receiving a ridiculous quotes from one of the big box stores, I looked on Thumbtack and found Carpet Now. Ben immediately responded to my request and his local guy, Robert, was at my home within an hour. He brought samples, explained the importance of a quality pad and carpet weight. Most importantly, the quote was less than half of what L***'* quoted me. His crew...Rodrigo and Daniel...showed up at my home promptly at 8:30 am yesterday and in just a few short hours, my stairs, loft and 2 bedrooms had beautiful new carpet. When I had originally scheduled them to install a runner on the stairs I had to cancel the day before because we had some issues with the treads on our new stairs that Ben recommended we get fixed first. They were flexible with rescheduling, the team showed up ON TIME which I've discovered is very rare when working on home improvement projects and did a beautiful job on top of giving me a much better price than the other two options I spoke with! Ryla S.2918 days agoWe found ourselves in a rare situation where our carpet upstairs had been violated due to an inept dog sitter and her dog. it was as bad as it sounds and we needed something done quick. Thank you yelp! I requested quotes from 5 different carpet specialists and asked them to make their best offer based on my situation. Carpet Now (Ben) came back first with an upfront answer telling me everything I needed to know before i knew I needed to know it. $1.99 per square foot with everything included - meaning tearing up and getting rid of the old carpet, moving all furniture, and of course carpet replacement. It was by far the best offer I had been given. Others answered with things like, we'll have to see it to know what we can offer and things that sounded like it would take longer than what I had time for. These guys were on it and I appreciate that. They sent a friendly representative, Chuck, out that day and I saw the product and signed on. They came by a couple of days later and had the carpet finished in one day. It was a heck of a lot of work and they knocked it out. We love the carpet! Highly recommend! We wanted to do a quick turn on the property for a new tenant, so we needed carpet....and needed it NOW! They came out and measured and gave us samples. Three days later we had beautiful and plush carpet already installed. And honestly, it was the same price or better than somewhere else. Chuck was a pleasure to work with. David W.2994 days agoWe were pressed for time waiting on quotes and scheduling from a large home improvement retailer since our kids were going to be away one week and we wanted to sequence the carpet following paint before they returned. A friend referred us to Carpet Now. We called Ben and he literally scheduled a 1:1 consultation with us the next day with Chuck. Chuck brought samples to our house and we selected one. We had an installation date the following week. It could have been sooner but we were waiting on painters. A few days after the install, there were a couple of small things I asked to be tightened up and Chuck sent the crew the next day and it took less than 15 minutes. A friend told us about Carpet Now...which saved us the time of scouring the internet and reading the reviews (like this one...ha). We called and talked with Ben about our options. Ben was great because he made it so stinkin' easy; discussing our options, measuring, choosing which level carpet, color, etc. My fear with carpet replacement was that it would take forever.
